Northwood Group Acquires Trinity Training & Development, Expanding Professional Development Offerings

Austin, TX- May 14, 2025 - Trinity Training & Development, a nationally recognized leader in professional development and training services, announced today that it has been acquired by Northwood Group, led by Adam P. Boyd, expanding its capacity to deliver comprehensive leadership and sales training solutions.

The acquisition, finalized in March 2025, brings together Trinity's 22-year legacy of excellence with Northwood Group's expertise in sales training and leadership development.

"I had been looking for several years for the right company to partner with," said Adam P. Boyd, new President of Trinity Training & Development. "As soon as I heard about Trinity, the depth of their material, the strength of their customer base, and the deep bench of their trainers, I was really excited about the opportunity to help lead this company into the future."

Robert Winter, who founded Trinity Training & Development in 2003, expressed confidence in the transition:

"Over the past 3 years I was approached by various organizations who expressed their interest in purchasing our company. In determining who would be the best fit, what was critical to me was someone who not only had the resources to take the company to the next level, but who valued the amazing staff, both on our leadership team as well as a group of outstanding facilitators. All of whom have been instrumental in the success of the company. In my discussions and meetings with Adam, I felt his commitment to providing each of the staff the opportunity to grow with the company was foremost on his mind."

What Clients Can Expect

Current Trinity clients can expect the same level of service and attention they've come to rely on. The existing team of facilitators will continue to deliver the high-quality training programs that have been Trinity's hallmark.

"Our sales training clients now have access to excellent frontline leadership training, and our frontline leadership training clients have access to excellent sales and sales management training," said Boyd. "We're very excited about collaborating with clients to roll out new professional training and development programs they've been asking for."

Previously, he was Principal and Facilitator at Leaders' Forum, where he created peer communities for sales leaders, and Vice President of Client Sales at Beneplace, where he drove significant growth following a private equity acquisition. Adam also spent nine years at Market Sense/Sandler Training Austin, where he co-authored "Succeed The Sandler Way" and helped numerous companies achieve dramatic growth through sales training and management development.
